दिल्ली: चांदनी महल इलाके में दिव्यांग की दर्दनाक मौत

चांदनी महल इलाके में बीती रात एक घर में आग लगने से दिव्यांग की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। पुलिस के अनुसार, 48 वर्षीय इकबाल आधे शरीर से लाचार थे। बेड से हिल-डुल नहीं सकते थे। रात उनकी पत्नी मायके गई थीं। करीब 11:15 बजे घर में आग लग गई। इकबाल अकेले थे। बचाव नहीं कर सके। पड़ोसियों ने धुआं और लपटें देखीं तो पुलिस व फायर डिपार्टमेंट को सूचना दी। पड़ोसियों और लोकल पुलिस ने घर में घुसने की भरसक कोशिश की, लेकिन लपटों से पार पाना मुश्किल था। संकरी गलियां होने की वजह से दिल्ली फायर सर्विस की गाड़ी भी समय रहते बचाव नहीं कर पाईं। देर रात घर की आग बुझी तो इकबाल की बॉडी निकली, जो बुरी तरह जल चुकी थी।
